DESCRIPTION

This is my version of the Sabine Wren Style helmet. It looks like they are going with this style of design for the new Ashoka series. Finally we get a live action Sabine!!All pieces come apart and press fit. It prints nice and thick with room for pads. I printed this on a CR10S-pro with NO supports in the center but I added a nice thick support for the widow peak, very assential for good supports on the peak. The screens on the rangefinder can be printed in translucent. I would recomend gluing the pieces at final assembly. The range finder shaft comes with a cyclinder to mount it to the helmet that I labeled as BOLT. This can be replaced by an actual bolt, I created a hole all the way through the ear to allow more room but depending on the bolt size, you might need to adjust the hole.

The alignment pins for the back piece fit directly into my own prints helmet holes, but you will need to trim the length. I made the pins long so they were easier to press into the back piece to glue and also easier to make sure the holes inside the helmet are cleared enough for them to fit. I myself like to insert the pins into the back piece, glue the pins, trim the pins, and then starting on one side, snap the back piece onto the helmet. Since the back piece is the same shape of the helmet but with pins, you'll have to flex it just a bit to get it to reach the last hole.

Charlie makes some of the best 3D models in the space and I highly recommend him as a creator. His patreon GrizzlyMountainDesigns is well worth the price and contains a ton of value. Thanks for your contribution to the community with this file. It prints very nicely.

Printed this on my Anycubic Photon Mono X, and it came out beautifully! I had to rescale it and assemble it in my software. Using this for a 1:6 scale figure. Very happy with this Helmet!!!

Very nice design and fit. Sturdy walls, no worries about it being too thin and weak. I had some layer issues but believe it might be the slicer settings. I also couldn't get it to not print the supports inside, still learning cura.
