Recently I had been asked to design some Point Levers to add to my collection of model railway related items. On the railway there are many designs and this is just one of the many types I found while searching.
This design has the levers mounted on a wooden base with a board standing surface.
When looking at photos of this design in real life the levers were either in the middle or at the end, so I have done both designs. I have also done both for each side of the point depending on how they are installed. The levers are fragile once printed and could be easily be broken, I have made them slightly thicker to reduce the chance of being broken.
These items have been designed at OO gauge, 1/76.2 scale. For HO Gauge print at 87%, 1/87 Scale,For O Gauge UK print at 175%, 1/43.5 scale,For O Gauge International print at 158%, 1/48 scale,For TT Gauge print at 63.5%, 1/120 scale, for N Gauge UK print at 51.5%, 1/148 Scale, (Caution: I have not test printed this in N gauge scale).
The examples in the pictures were printed on an AnyCubic Mono 4 Ultra 3D resin printer.I recommend printing these on a 3D resin printer. As per normal with my designs, there is a balance between accuracy and printability, hopefully not affecting the look of the model too much.Files starting with _ have the supports added and can be used or demonstate the orientation I printed them.
I use AnyCubic Water Washable Resin for most of my items but use AnyCubic ABS Like Resin for anything that needs to be stronger and tougher.
