Ancient Ornate Sword for 3D Print

Ancient Ornate Sword for 3D Print 3D print model

Description

This is a sword I modeled in 3ds Max and Mudbox using the reference provided in the images gallery. The caption said it's a Persian sword, but I'm not entirely sure. Looks very much like a Roman Gladius, or perhaps something out of Mesopotamia. Either way, I enjoy the design of it and wanted to model it. The sword is ready and fully prepared for 3D printing, which you print and also use as a mold to sand cast it into metal. I highly recommend Aluminum Bronze. I modeled it in 3ds max, and I sculpted ornate details onto the handle in Mudbox. You get the 3ds Max files from version 2012-2017 with Turbosmooth modifiers left in stacks, an OBJ, an FBX, and several STL files for 3D printing. Full sword can be printed or you may adjust and slice it according to how you want, otherwise I provided STL files of the sword split up into parts and also split in half to make it easier for sand casting if desired. If you buy this sword and love it, please leave 5 stars. Thank you and hope you enjoy.
