BattleHex (BH) is a modular hex tile system for Battletech but can be used for other games as well. Tiles have a width of 60 mm so they are twice the size of a 30 mm hex base. this is roughly 60% scale to mech height. Connectors are a, a pin and b a slot. Elevation for hills are H then elevation (one elevation is 12 mm). If the hills have connections they are with the type (a or b) and what elevation they are. So BH_H3a1b2 is a tile with elevation 3 and one pin connecttion at elevation 1 and a slot connection at elevation 2. Standard elevation is zero and will not be marked. For rivers and roard the type of connection for the road/river will be marked ab for straight, bb for a turn bb and aa for a turn aa.
The Basic set is the plain tile just marked BH01 and hills upp to elevation 3 with connections. There will be seperate sets for rivers, roads, lakes and terrain features.
