This model is a piece for moving of the original Lenovo exhaust fi120mm case fan (AVC DS12025B12U) out of the case. My reason for that is the change of cooling in Lenovo D30 from original Lenovo cooling CPU coolers to Noctua NH-U12S on CPU0 & NH-D15 on CPU1, which dropped the CPU temperatures under full load from ~80°C to less than 60°C. So slow Lenovo/AVC fan was spinning to slow for moving of air outside the case.
In v3 there has been added:
- support for washers in M5 tightening support
- side support for less pressure on a wall
The model fits perfectly to the case & to the fi120mm fan, has enough room for wiring to the motherboard & will improve your setup for Lenovo D30 machine.
For 3Dprint, don't forget to use temperature resistant materials with can handle at least ~80°C or more & make sure you use supports for 3D print.
For fitting, I have used 6pcs Noctua NA-SAV2 anti-vibration mounts, instead of originals (much harder rubber ones). Also, wiring for case fan is ducted outside the case & goes in through the 1st card slot in the D30 case (just make sure you isolate at least ~50mm of the fan wiring in order not to damage it on sharp edges).
Also, the fan protection needs to be replaced from intake to exhaust area - see the prototype assembly in pictures. Brackets are a little thicker then on prototype in the download model, but if needed, put some washers or distancers for better holding.
