3D model descriptionRifle Scope Camera Side MountRecord the view through your rifle scope without placing a bulky camera directly behind the eyepiece. This compact, 3D-printable side-mount system uses a beamsplitter to direct the scope image toward a camera positioned beside the rifle. It allows the shooter to maintain a comfortable, natural shooting position while capturing the scope view for target shooting, training, review, or content creation.Unlike many conventional scope-camera mounts, this short-profile design adds very little length behind the scope. The side-mounted camera avoids the awkward rear extension that can interfere with head position, eye relief, or the shooter’s normal field of movement. The package includes interchangeable camera adapters, multiple scope-fitting options, all required printable components, and a detailed illustrated build manual. The design has been physically printed, assembled, and tested as a complete working system—not simply created as an untested collection of STL files.
Supported CamerasDedicated printable adapters are included for:• GoPro HERO9• GoPro HERO10• GoPro HERO11• GoPro HERO12• GoPro HERO13• GoPro HERO5 Session• AKASO V50 X• Dedicated rifle-scope camera configuration shown in the build manual
Each camera system uses its corresponding adapter. Please confirm your exact camera model before printing, as cameras with similar names may have different body dimensions and are not automatically compatible.Scope CompatibilityThe supplied mounting components support rifle-scope eyepieces with outside diameters from 38 to 45 mm. Measure the outside diameter of your scope eyepiece before selecting and printing the appropriate fitting components.
Key Features• Compact, short-profile design – Adds minimal length behind the scope and avoids the awkward rear extension created by many conventional camera mounts.• Preserves a natural shooting position – The camera sits beside the scope, reducing interference with the shooter’s face, head position, eye relief, and normal shooting posture.• Simultaneous viewing and recording – The beamsplitter allows the shooter to look through the scope while the camera captures the same optical image.• Multiple supported cameras – Printable adapters are included for GoPro HERO9–HERO13, GoPro HERO5 Session, AKASO V50 X, and the dedicated rifle-scope camera configuration described in the manual.• Broad scope compatibility – Designed for rifle-scope eyepieces measuring 38–45 mm in outside diameter.• Adjustable camera position – Compatible camera mounts can be moved forward or backward for accurate focus and image alignment.• Secure, scope-friendly attachment – Flexible sleeves and a compression-based locking system provide a firm grip while reducing the risk of scratching the scope.• Recoil-conscious construction – Flexible contact components help absorb shock and protect the scope and camera assembly.• Modular and serviceable – Camera adapters, sleeves, and fitting components can be printed or replaced individually.• Low additional hardware cost – The required beamsplitter, fasteners, inserts, and consumables are inexpensive and readily available.• Detailed illustrated manual included – Includes a complete parts list, hardware specifications, purchasing guidance, print recommendations, and step-by-step assembly instructions.• Physically built and tested – Developed through actual printing, assembly, installation, and practical testing.
