Minimalist Car Phone Holder with WIRELESS CHARGING - NO TOOLS 3D print model

This Phone Holder is designed to fit into your cars Airvent and hold your Phone tight in it's arms, so you can have your Navigation or your spotify on sight at all times. It needs no tools to assemble and no special screws you need to buy (only for the optional charging electronics). The vent clip is grabs tight onto the airvent so your Phone doesn't wobble on a curvy road. To remove your Phone just pull it forward and slightly up, the arms are designed to reset their position by pulling forward. It can hold Phones between 65-80mm in width and up to 8-14mm in thickness. The charging coil doesn't change its position when the front plate is slid down and is calculated to match the center of almost any Phone (so you can charge really fast and reliable).

Printing advice: I Printed everything facing up with supports, except for the vent clip. That one is printed upright for extra stability. I advise using PLA+, but regular PLA, PETG or ABS work fine. The tolerances are calculated and tested so the front plate slides easy and the arms move with small friction, but nothing rattles or wiggles. It can easily be printed with a 0.6mm nozzle, just don't make the layer too tall.

Assembly:

1. (optional) Put in Charging electronics (you can buy some on ebay, i bought a 20W 5-12V unit for 20€, you can buy 10W 5V units for as low as 2-3€)
2. Start with the front plate, lay it face down and put the slits on the arms onto the pins
3. slide the backplate from the bottom onto the rails on the front plate (this is the trickiest part)
4. line up the arms to put in the pins from the back into the holes (and put the pins in)
5. slide in the part with the vent clip (with the fased side first to make assembly easier, this one can be a little hard to push in, but it holds the whole assembly together so that's a good thing)
