Threads are steel, not plastic. Every 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 interface uses a captive hex-nut pocket — drop a standard nut in during the print. Printed plastic threads strip; these don't. Heat-set insert variants included for FDM.

A note on Arca: there is no published Arca standard. Real plates measure 38.1–39.6mm depending on brand. This plate is 38.0mm nominal; check it against your clamp.

STEP files for every part. Source script included — change a length, regenerate.
