1/15
This archtop guitar was designed from a full set of plans of the Gibson L5 guitar.
A blender file is included so you can make an adjustments based on your own hardware.
The body and neck have been inset and are ready for 2.5mm of binding and the F-Holes are inset for 1.5mm of binding.
The neck is slotted and is ready for a StewMac 14-1/4" hotrod truss rod and has a dove tail joint. Neck angle to body is 3.5 degrees and headstock angle is 12.9 degrees. Tuning machine holes are 10mm and will fit most if not all tuning machines.
The neck dove tail has a tolerance of zero as the surfaces need to be sanded flat so the joint has a snug fit and to work properly with the glue/epoxy of your choice
Brace/support bars are shaped but will need to be sanded and fit into place.
Always remember to measure your hardware and do test prints to make sure everything fits before committing to long prints.
