Great Sword (ヘビーソード) or greatsword is a type of heavy sword used in YGGDRASIL and the New World. Ainz Ooal Gown beginning his career as an adventurer in the Re-Estize Kingdom utilized two great swords as his main weapons. Climb uses one during his training; swinging it 500 times in a controlled manner. Great Swords are classed as swords that are over-sized and the same size as the user. Great Swords are noted to be weapons for hacking not slashing. They were typically not one-handed weapons, hacking a being like an ogre using a single hand would be difficult. The weight of one would be even too much for a regular soldier.
