Doctor Who relaunched onto the screen in 2004, bringing with it a whole slew of new and old characters and enemies of the Doctor. None more so vicious as the masters of extermination, the Dalek.

The newly designed Dalek was first featured in the episode ‘Dalek’ which saw the 9th Doctor encounter his old nemesis, and subsequently then finding out that not all Daleks were locked in the time bubble.

Finished in a striking gold and black colour scheme, the Dalek once again showed us what it was like to feel the fear of extermination all over again.

This is a screen accurate design of the gun box details used on the New Series Dalek. I have drawn this from technical drawings provided by the Dalek Builders forum, which are well known for their screen accuracy and high level of detail.

There are two files provided which must be printed twice to complete the gun box. The first is a square base followed by a top circle.

This is the start of many many Dalek parts to come, as I am planning on releasing a full 1:1 scale 3D printable Dalek.
