For some, bounty hunting is a complicated profession. For others, it is a way of life. When one chooses to walk the way of the Mandalore, you are both hunter and prey.
This listing is for my final version of Din Djarin's Beskar Rising Phoenix Jetpack. Included are files for the jetpack as well as a low profile harness I designed to match the contour of the back of the jetpack and arch with your back. This harness is not accurate to a T to how they do it on film, but it is I feel an improved design with simplicity and comfort in mind. A detailed list of all the parts used for the harness is provided in an image and also in a text document with links provided to the parts used and where to buy.
Keep in mind, if you scale these files the hardware parts may no longer fit the modeled spaces and work as intended. Just forewarning you.
Slicing guide video for main jetpack body half has been uploaded here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EC7PAD-bbxM&t=314s
The long wait is over everyone!
Fidlock Rising Phoenix as seen in the Mandalorian season 3 is here!
This jetpack has been carefully picked over and remodeled to reflect the highest accuracy I can provide with all new reference material from touring costume display images as well as season 3 reference. Jetpack with new Fidlock mounting system in collaboration with JJ Industries UK!
Fidlock parts can be purchased from JJ Industries here: https://store.jjindustries.co.uk/products/jetpack-mounting-system
Some notable differences:
New Thruster design/ completely reworked
New beacon/ completely reworked [thinner, more tapered than the Boba/niteowl beacon but same height]
Beacon now threads together and screws into pack via small grub/set screw from the inside!
Added stripes on bottom edge vent looking area
Adjusted Piano key details
Adjusted all caps
Adjusted the top pronged part
Adjusted Mortar shape a tad
Adjusted underside bottom edge inset line detail
Added new season 3 back panel with fidlock devices [fully tested system to ensure it works properly]
On top of accurracy differences, I took the opportunity to re-engineer certain aspects of this pack. Some of those notable changes:
Added interior support fins to hollow bodied parts to make it easier to print [no longer need nearly as much support to print the main body]
Made connections for all tube and thruster parts a little longer so they'd have more to grab onto glue wise. Also beefed up thickness on some parts that connect.
Added a mid panel to the standard back panel cover that was initially there.
Mid panel screws into jetpack. Making system fully secure. Zero chance of jetpack falling off backplate once locked into the fidlock hooks!
New back panel designed to velcro over mid panel [purely cosmetic. Hides screws on mid panel]
Split main body files now screw together for easy, ultra secure assembly
Beacon and Antennae now screw into place, are removable
3D Files are meant as personal use and not to be sold, remixed, or shared with or by anyone.
