DESCRIPTION

Refugio SealBuilding[1] is the result of construction, which is a three-dimensional above-ground building structure, which includes premises intended for human habitation and (or) activity, production location, storage of products or keeping animals, as well as networks and systems of engineering and technical support. The building may also have operated premises in the underground part. Buildings include both fixed structures that are rigidly connected to foundations, and mobile structures that are moved from place to place (for example, modular buildings consisting of containers, commercial enterprises on wheels, etc.).

The above definition corresponds to the term building in Federal Law No. 384-F3 Technical Regulations on the Safety of Buildings and Structures[2], except that in the Federal Law, entirely underground structures, for example, an underground garage, are also considered buildings. But it is usually not customary to call a building a structure that does not have an aboveground part. Unlike linear and planar structures, the building necessarily has an internal volume with rooms for various purposes. Linear structures (power lines, bridges, television towers, masts, etc.), as well as planar structures (for example, equipped parking lots) are not buildings. It is not customary to call dwellings with a very low durability (huts, huts, etc.) buildings.
