Subaru Impreza is a sedan, station wagon, coupe or hatchback of the Japanese company Subaru, produced since 1992. Impreza appeared after the decommissioning of the popular Subaru Leone/Loyale model with outdated EA series engines. Impreza started with EJ series engines, which have already become popular in the older model, Subaru Legacy [source not specified 983 days]. The Impreza model exists in five generations.

Description of the modelIn 2000, the second-generation Subaru Impreza appeared. The car had versions with sedan and station wagon bodies (the coupe disappeared from the model range).

In 2007, the Subaru Impreza III generation was released. In the Russian automotive market, this model was presented in a hatchback body with 1.5 and 2 liter engines. But in the future, based on marketing considerations, the Subaru team added a sedan to the Impreza body line. The sedan is delivered to Russia only with a 1.5 l engine.

The fourth generation of the Subaru Impreza model has been produced in Japan since 2011 with sedan and hatchback bodies. Initially, the car was supplied to the Russian market, but due to low demand in 2014, its sales were discontinued.

The fifth generation of the Impreza model has been on sale since 2016.

In 2010, a new modification of the Subaru Impreza XV was introduced, which is a hatchback model with a clearance of 185 mm, an EJ204 engine with a volume of 1994 cm3, thicker transverse stabilizers, stiffer springs, shock absorbers and silent blocks, a body kit made of impact-resistant plastic and standard luggage rails. The Impreza XV model was produced in 2010 and 2011, then it was replaced by the Subaru XV model
