Chinese war chariot 770BC The is a model of a Chinese war chariot from the Zhou Dynasty around 770BC. Earlier chariots had fewer spokes. The carriage body was around 0.914m long and 1.65m wide. Usually a chariot carried three armored warriors with different tasks: the charioteer was the driver, the archer was the primary assault specialist and the third man provided close combat defense.
