Units are cm. The king´s height is 11 cm. Only the knight needs to be printed with a small support. I You should have any problems please contact me. The field cubes have to be glued into the cross shaped base parts. There might be better ways to connect the board pieces, but this way You can also use wood blocks or any other rectangular shaped objects as field blocks, even bigger sized.I hope You like my original design. It´s based on my modern chess set #1, which is quite similar, but the basic shape there is a cone. It can be found here on cg trader, too.
