DESCRIPTION

Frontier Transit is the first autonomous passenger shuttle in the Frontier series, designed for game development, film and animation, and real-time rendering.

Built around a futuristic industrial design and realistic mechanical structures, Frontier Transit strikes a balance between model detail, real-time performance, and interactive configurability.

The shuttle features a complete passenger cabin and interior facilities. Materials for the overall color scheme, exterior decals, lighting effects, seats, equipment boxes, and display screens can all be quickly customized.

The model includes a non-physics-based rigging system and a highly detailed modular design, allowing you to create vehicle animations with realistic mechanical feedback without complicated setup.

Key Features

  1. Complete Empty-Object Constraint-Based Rigging System - Blender
  • Built using the Blender 4.5.1 constraint system
  • Controller-based setup for easy animation and control
  • Control the following elements directly through dedicated controllers:
    • Passenger doors
    • Landing gear deployment and retraction
    • Engine activation
    • RCS maneuvering thruster effects
    • Other mechanical components
  1. Highly Customizable Material System - No Node Editing Required

All core materials support quick parameter adjustments directly from the Material Properties panel.

You can easily customize:

  • Exterior hull paint color
  • Emission color and intensity
  • Decal content and color

No need to enter the Shader Editor. Simply adjust the available parameters in the Material Properties panel to customize the asset.

This makes the model suitable for rapid reskinning in commercial projects and for adapting the asset to different visual styles, including industrial and sci-fi environments.

  1. Game Ready and Performance Optimized
  • Uses high-to-low poly baking to optimize geometry
  • Designed for:
    • Unreal Engine
    • Unity
    • Real-time rendering projects

The asset is optimized to maintain a good balance between visual quality and real-time performance.

  1. Modular Design - Foundation for Future Frontier Series Expansion

The model uses a modular structure, allowing different components to be easily customized or replaced.

Main modules include:

  • Hull Module
  • Seat Module
  • Equipment Box Module
  • Overhead Luggage Rack and Display Module
  • Central Information Island and Cargo Tray Module
