DESCRIPTION

This is one of the Mars vehicle series models I made. UDIM is adopted to split UV, and 4K material map is made by PBR process. Controller binding is carried out on the engine, engine light effect, pod, hatch and other items.If you find that UDIM texture does not display, open the file and unzip the texture folder, go to blender file, click Find Missing Files and select the Texture folder to relink the texture.When you import the FBX and Find the Missing Files. You have to change the source of the Texture image to UDIM, as by default on import it's set to Single Image.If you have any other questions, please contact me.

The file contains:

  1. Hercules Mars landing ship;
  2. UDIM material pack;

Note:The model was made in blender and the texture was made in Substance Painter.File format: blend, FBXFile size: 37.4MBRunning memory: 300MBNumber of vertices: 521340Polygon count: 493,463

This is a well-designed and well-made model. I really like the overall style of the ship, and the details are nicely handled as well. For example, the rear door's open vs closed pose is exactly 90 degrees, and when open the door sits at a whole-number angle. These are smart choices. It's working very well for me in my current project. Bravo!

Figured out my issue with the textures, if you are using Blender after importing the FBX and relinking the textures, make sure you swap the source of the texture to UDIM in the UV Editor.

This model is too good, I would highly recommend this. I'm still tasting this model and will write more detailed review after I'm done with my project. But go for it.
