NASA CAPSTONE spacecraft 3D model

Description

NASA's CAPSTONE (Cislunar Autonomous Positioning System Technology Operations and Navigation Experiment) lunar orbiter spacecraft. CAPSTONE will be the first spacecraft to make use of a near-rectilinear halo orbit, demonstrating navigation and communications in this regime ahead of operational use by Orion, Gateway, HLS, and other vehicles supporting the Artemis program. CAPSTONE will launch in March 2022 on a Rocketlab Electron rocket
