DESCRIPTION

Colonial Mineral Mining ships were crucial part of the Rag tag fleet led by mighty Battlestar Galactica and were responsible for supplying the fleet with raw materials and tylium for fuel. At least two ships of this class were know - Majahual and Monarch. This model aims to be as faithful to the original TV show model as possible, both in visual and in detail (polycount), while also presenting two additional alternate versions, one of which was briefly seen as a mash-up to make a scene in the TV show more interesting, and another as a mix between the lore accurate and this mash-up version.

Overall, this model features:

  • Several formats (OBJ, FBX, BLEND and LWS/LWO*)
  • 2k and 4k sets of maps with diffuse, roughness and normal layers
  • Texture and UV maps UDIM supported
  • 3 ship variants
  • Polycount ranging from 556 to 580k, so it's spot on with the TV show version and isn't that heavy to work with

*LWS/LWO - Lightwave 3D files has 2k textures loaded.
