A high quality 3D model of a Hydrogen Molecule
This is a representation of Hydrogen, a chemical element; it has symbol H and atomic number 1. It is the lightest element and, at standard conditions, is a gas of diatomic molecules with the formula H2, sometimes called dihydrogen, but more commonly called hydrogen gas, molecular hydrogen or simply hydrogen. This model has shaders which dissipate towards the edges, to give it more of a stylised look. We have also included the chemical symbols on the spheres at both ends.
We originally created this model as part of a detailed hydrogen fuel cell animation, which demonstrated the fuel cell process at a molecular level. There are many situations where you might want to use this model, especially within scientifically games, animations, videos etc, due to hydrogen being the most abundant chemical substance in the universe. Stars, including the Sun, primarily consist of hydrogen in a plasma state, while on Earth, hydrogen is found in water, organic compounds, and other molecular forms.
The model is great to use in your games, films as CGI, VR, or animations. It's low poly but holds enough detail to place into a scene for a realistic CGI element.
Technical Specifications:
File Formats: MB, MA, OBJ, FBX, STL, VRSCENE
Other than Autodesk Maya, file types (OBJ, FBX, STL, VRSCENE) include only standard materials without advanced shaders or materials. All textures are included.
Whether you're a student, educator, or designer aiming for simplicity in your projects, this Hydrogen Molecule model serves as an accessible and valuable resource.
