A high-fidelity 3D reconstruction of the human cerebral cortex derived from self-donated MRI data, processed through FreeSurfer with spatial registration aligned to a population-specific MRI brain template. The model faithfully captures the natural complexity of cortical anatomy — including sulcal depth, gyral folding patterns, and hemispheric asymmetry — and is anatomically parcellated into 4 distinct lobes using FreeSurfer's aparc.annot parcellation.
*What's Included*4 separate mesh files, each representing an anatomical lobe with both hemispheres merged:
- Frontal Lobe (lh + rh)
- Parietal Lobe (lh + rh)
- Temporal Lobe (lh + rh)
- Occipital Lobe (lh + rh)
Key Features
- Derived from self-donated MRI scan — ethically sourced, single-subject data
- Lobe boundaries defined by anatomical parcellation (aparc.annot) — not arbitrary geometric cuts
- Each lobe merges left and right hemisphere into a single unified mesh per lobe
- 1mm resolution mesh preserving sulcal and gyral detail
- 2.5mm uniform wall thickness — print-ready solid shell, no slicer repair needed
- Available in STL / OBJ / FBX / DAE formats
- Ideal for medical & neuroscience education
- Neuroanatomy reference for Southeast Asian population studies
- 3D printing ready (FDM / Resin) — each lobe prints independently
- Compatible with game engines & visualization tools (Unity, Unreal, Blender)
