Lagurus Ovatus: BunnytailNative to the Mediterranean Basin, The Azores, Canary islands, and Saudi Arabia, this attractive tall grass is widely known as Bunnytail. The name undoubtedly refers to the soft, fluffy white seed heads that perch atop 1-2ft tall stems, blooming from early summer to fall. Bunnytail is cultivated as an ornamental and is commonly used in dried bouquets. The plant has naturalized in parts of Australia and the United Kingdom and is considered an invasive species in some places outside its native range.
