DESCRIPTION

This is the Kalibr 3M 14 cruise missile of the Navy. («Калибр» 3М-14 (3П-14))
It is one of the modern developments of the Russian Federation for mass,
not selective use in the wars of the Russian Federation. It was used in the Syrian War.
In the Russian-Ukrainian war it is used in massive attacks from surface and underwater launch
on cities and any objects of Ukraine from the first day of the Mass Invasion.
Successfully intercepted by air and missile defense systems of various types,
not a few cases of interception by infantry anti-aircraft systems.
I present a unique development - maximally detailed, with the reflection in the model
of almost all external elements of the design in full 3D format and not requiring additional
use of special 2D textures (pseudo 3D). The model is ready for realistic 3D visualization in
virtually any application designed for this purpose using a standard set of materials-
all surfaces are ready for this and marked (distinguished by a conditional color marker).
The model is technically accurate and is made as close as possible to the original and
in the original dimensions, including the elements. Even the screw heads, which are not filled
with putty and sealant in the real product, correspond to real metric fasteners. Everything is made
as accurately as possible, as much as it was possible relying on a little information from public sources.
Numerous photos of real missiles of this type shot down by Ukrainian air and missile defense systems
from open publications and methodical materials were used as much as possible.
It was photos of real rockets that became the main amount of information for realism,
although the development was based on images from patent reviews. As practice has shown,
they have some inaccuracies and differences from what real rockets look like.
The model can be successfully used for detailed study of external design of the product,
creation of realistic 3D visualizations of high quality and pixel resolution - above 4K
(smooth surfaces and high detail), as well as can be used for production of high quality
stand models-models for training and exhibition purposes.
The kit contains three sets of files - assemblies for representation in the form of -
cruising flight, compact assembly - removed wings and rudders-stabilizers and
conditional maneuvering - half-open wings, open covers and turned rudders-stabilizers.
The model is an assembly model, all moving elements are made by separate parts,
including the impellers of the engine, which, if desired, allows you to use the model to create 3D animation.
The model was originally developed in technical-engineering 3D format (solid model).
In addition to solid model file formats, converted highly detailed polygonal file formats are additionally provided

Mesh:
Vertices 1474632
Faces 2949560
(3M-14_v2.obj)

Overall, a quite satisfactory model. However: 1. STEP, IGS and X_T formats are not smoothed. 2. MAX and FBX formats - Although most of the artifacts that were visible in the ecliptic and circular holes have been removed, some still remain in the tail section. 3. OBJ formats - a lot of artifacs, especially in the tail section. 4. The colour scheme is not included in the model as shown in the preview renders. You have to guess the colours by yourself.
