The T-34 is a Soviet medium tank that was manufactured in Kharkiv and was designed by the Kharkiv Machine Building Design Bureau. It was introduced in 1940. When introduced, its 76.2 mm (3 in) tank gun was more powerful than its contemporaries,[8] and its 60-degree sloped armour provided good protection against anti-tank weapons. The Christie suspension was inherited from the design of the American J. Walter Christie's M1928 tank T-34-85 with D-5T gun. Dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War against Nazi Germany and their allies.
