This model is part of the Medieval Siege Engine collection. This is a mobile catapult which can be moved around the battlefield by soldiers. A catapult is a ballistic device used to launch a rocks or other projectiles. This particular model features tension ropes which are used to pull the main lever down before releasing the payload.
