- Hi Zhenyuanopterus, this problem has been solved in this version, thank you a lot.
- Nice!
- Isn't this just using free Nasa textures you can find from their website? I checked them out before and put it onto a sphere which made something seemingly identical to this for no cost at all, full CC0 (no problem using it commercially) and took me 10 minutes. I'm just asking what the difference between this and mine is and how it's worth the $40? :)
- Hello Zeus, Thank you for commenting, if it is true that there are textures available in NASA, but these come with serious imperfections, especially in the area of the poles. There are a lot of shadows in the craters, so they make a photorealistic representation impossible. In this product these images have been cleaned and improved from a mosaic. Another thing that you will not be able to find anywhere in the cloud is the high quality 16-bit displacement maps, which allow a non-stepped pixels. What is sold here is quality, and a work process. You can try to replicate the renderings shown here with free images, please show us your results in order to compare, Luck! Cesar
- Impressed by your reply to be fair, it is indeed true and where I got mine from. I would disagree strongly about the lack of photorealism though. The image here is before I enhanced the engine to accept 8K textures so what you see here is only rendered in 4K, but nontheless, youll see it is good. You can also see by the date how old this image is. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/501794735745269770/519678893720993802/unknown.png

- Very nice and detailed model. Took me a moment to prep it for 3D printing, but with the given resources the result does look amazing.
- Excellent work! Opened perfectly. Looks fantastic.
- Thanks Happy
- I'm a fan of caraesarpro's work, however in this moon product I'm seeing a small misalignment of the textures in my Blender 2.79 renders. It appears that in some places the moon surface diffuse texture is not properly aligned with the bump texture, causing a double-image on some craters and mountains. I'll need to use Photoshop to fix the misalignments, something I was hoping I would not need to do with a payware product.
