The Zenitco PT-2 is a telescopic, foldable buttstock designed primarily for PKM series of machine guns and similar platforms, replacing the standard stock and folding to the left. It can be installed in the standard stock mounting location without any modifications to the weapon. The PT-2 features an adjustable length-of-pull and a height-adjustable cheek riser to better fit individual shooters and shooting tasks. The stock has several positions for length adjustment and a multi-position cheek rest for better sight alignment. The lower position of the cheek rest allows the machine gun to be used with its standard mechanical sights. When folded, the PT-2 folds alongside the receiver in whatever length or cheek height configuration is set. PT-2 is part of Zenitco's modernization package for the PKM, which also includes components such as the B-50 or B-51 rails and DTK-1P muzzle brake-compensator.
