Fantastic leather stitched patchwork sofa model DS88 designed by De Sede team and manufactured by De Sede, Switzerland 1970s. This sofa has beautiful natural tanned leather patchwork, that still looks amazing and classy. Fantastic design by De Sede who wanted to work on a design where they can use their rest parts of leather for and there it was, the DS88 sofa made of rest cuts from leather in the De Sede production from other models. The model got so popular that the rest parts were not enough anymore, and they had to use new leather for the production. The sofa is upholstered with beautiful natural tanned leather and the patches give the aesthetics of the sofa a different dimension. This is a 3-element sofa which is complete with all the cushion supports, 3 at the back and 2 on the side. The ones on the sides also have magazine holders integrated in them. The sofa is in a very nice original condition with nice and gentle patina from age and usage but still in great quality. The foam is still firm and strong, and the sofa still maintains its beautiful original shape.
