940s Danish curved chair is an actually match the Danish curved or banana form sofas as they are also called. The sofas and chairs were very popular coming out of the 1930s and into the early 1940s and inspired by the Art Deco period. This chair has really nice elegant lines and we love the combination of the mohair fabric with the channels in the back. The chair was re-upholstered at a later point and the mohair velvet remains in very good usable condition showing only minor age wear. The padding and springs in the seat remains nice and soft yet supportive and the chair is in overall very good condition.
