This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 6 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 In September 2001 a referendum was held in Munich, asking whether the Olympic Stadium had to be renovated or a new stadium was needed. New construction received 2/3 of the votes. Architects are the Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron. The stadium has a fixed roof above the stands, similar to De Kuip. Since its curved outer wall and roof, the stadium looks like a giant, white pool. The walls and the roof are plastic air cushions, which have a small overpressure. Each separate part of the membrane roof is made by hand and is to highlight any different. The stadium has 66.000 seats. Boxes with a total of 10,000 seats, the short sides are foldable, making pitches arise. The stadium has 104 business units ("Logen"). The parking garage with 11.000 seats is the largest in Europe.
