A realistic looking ocean scene made in 3dsmax and Vray only. A nice ocean shader with some subsurface planes and Environmental Fog plus Depth of field set to go.
Keep in mind that this scene only works if you have Vray plugin installed. The entire scene is made with VrayDisplacementMap. This is no complex scene with heavy surfaces or modeling plugins. Just couple of Planes displaced via material editor. To animate this scene all you need is to adjust Phase and Offset settings in materials. If you find complex scenes bothering and familiar with 3ds max, then you are good to go.
