A very good quality medium and low poly New York city R142 model subway car.

Model: Modeled in 3ds max 2016. There is R142 main car and a tail wagon together. The main head car has a machinist driver section in front. While tail has full passenger compartment. Units are in in centimeters (real world size and dimension)

Formats and variations:FBX, OBJ and max2013 scene included. Also low-poly formats for game design are available inside too.

Render: Rendered in Vray renderer.

Import export issues: No issues so far. Tested on Blender and Cinema 4D. Screens attached.

Pros and cons:

This model is reasonably detailed to avoid hangs or severe overload during work. Has interior and exteriors stitched nicely. Also works fine on gaming engines like Unreal and Unity engines. Low poly versions are around 100k polycounts which are 10 TIMES lighter and easier to use preserving the best quality.

The only con is: Due to lack of original blueprints I had to model it roughly based on my vision and as close as possible to a original nyc r142 model. So it's not suitable for advanced projects like engineering or other scientific use. But you can use this model on any type of multimedia, gaming or testing, etc Have fun!
