There are two different FBX versions for meshes with collision: A basic one without any collision, and an Unreal Engine-specific version that includes the UCX_ custom collision inside of the fbx itself. These are simple hand-made collision volumes that you can use inside Unreal (when importing, disable creating automatic collision, and it'll use the custom one inside the fbx). This is much more optimized than the heavier complex auto-generated collision from Unreal!note: All of the foliage,plants, and water planes (besides the giant trees) do not have any collision.
There are no custom LODs, engines like Unreal are able to create great automatic LODs nowadays anyway.
If you want to directly import the .uasset files into your unreal project, simply unzip the glimmerware.zip and drag the folder into your Unreal content folder (usually located C/Users/YourUsername/Documents/UnrealProjects/YourGame/Content and everything will be set up automatically. You can check out the demo map from the video in the maps folder. Works in UE4.27 and UE5. (Disable auto exposure or lower light intensities to achieve the same lighting as my video and screenshots)
The scene in screenshots I set up in Unreal 4.27 and is using movable real-time lighting, but the user could opt in for baked lighting if they wanted, as all assets have their own lightmaps in the second UV channel
