Syrian Dyed Pot Ceramic
This piece is a ceramic glazed pot from 17th century Iran/ Syria Used for mixing spices and herbs. This is a higher poly model for architectural and historical scenes.
Museum, white glazed and under glaze painted in blue container for storing dried medicine / herbs. The vessel shape has a Ming era model. A porcelain jar around 1330 in the British Museum (Percival David Collection). Reference: Arts of Asia, Sept. - October 2004, page no. 42-54. Painted in 4 medallion-like cartouches with stylized foliage. Unglazed base ring.
