A modular kit for Japanese castles in the Himeji style, inside and out: 124 pieces that snap on a 2 m grid. Three wall finishes: smooth white plaster, black boards, and a stylised finish after Himeji's top storey, the plaster modelled into posts and bands with wide barred windows and brown boards. Walls are finished inside too, with timber posts and clay or white plaster. Stone bases of irregular, deeply jointed stones up to 8 m high, in three interchangeable variants, with corner stones, stone stairs and a koraimon gate. Tiered roofs modelled tile by tile: lifted corners, stacked ridge tiles, onigawara, pendant eave tiles, plastered rafters and eave beams, chidori and karahafu gables, shachi. Interiors: floors whose beams form the ceiling below, steep stairs, tatami, great pillars, weapon racks, raised shooting platforms (ishiuchidana), partitions, roof trusses, paper lanterns, storage chests. A furnished demo castle (a five-storey keep, a second keep, a turret and two tamon on a high rampart, a bailey below) and a cutaway are included.
Game edition included: the same pieces, plus the doors and partitions drawn open, each with three levels of detail (816k, 209k and 74k triangles for the whole kit), convex collision hulls and occluders. One FBX per piece with a Unity LOD group and Unreal UCX collision. A Godot 4 addon builds whole castles from a seed with a procedural generator (keeps of 1 to 5 storeys, turrets, tamon, walls, a gate, furnished interiors) and merges them into a few meshes per chunk; the demo castle renders in 3 to 7 ms a frame. Tested with a walking character: doors 1.83 m clear, ramps on every stair.
1,606,472 faces, 99.9% quads. Shared tiling PBR textures, 13 materials.Formats: Blender, FBX, OBJ, GLB. Game edition: FBX with LODs and collision, Blender, Godot 4 project.
