Rare Objects

This model is part of a personal project called Rare Objects. I select rare and exceptional objects from the past, they can be ancient artifacts, antiques, vintage technology or fashion accessories & garments. They all go through the same process :

  • curation
  • modelization
  • animation
  • rendering
  • presentation

The aim of this project is to shed new light on forgotten gems and share their story, while making their 3D model available for everyone.

Jean-Paul Gaultier Headress

This model is based off a photo taken by Irving Penn for a Vogue 1994 issue, magnifying the beauty of a headdress made by Jean-Paul Gaultier and worn by model Bridget Hall. The headdress is a mix of cultural references, taking inspiration from Indian ornaments to American-style chains and padlocks.
