When I set the keyframes for animations and re open the project the snake is upside down and a real pain to move.

Seems pretty good. I have not been successful applying the alternative animations to the model using Blender (and have no plans to shell out the money for Maya as we are not graphics-focused), but the author didn't go too crazy with the polygon count and the model looks good even without a texture (which is how we like it). Thanks!
