DESCRIPTION

Eye catching Blue Butterfly modelled, rigged, textured.

  • Only scale down the entire Armature to adjust scale of it. It's got somewhat around 15cm wingspan(for reference).

  • There are two sets of textures, one for the body and another for the wings. If you manually load it and the wing textures dont show up, use them as UDIMs.

  • Move the wing controller up and down to control wing flaps. unhide the wing dynamic bones and delete the animation in them if you are changing it.

  • Once the base flap is done, we used the Bone Dynamics addon to simulate the dynamic bones to get the preffered look. You can also skip the step if its not slow motion.

  • I've used NLA strips for layering animation, you can delete it and restart from scratch as well.

Request me seperately if you need the Substance Painter file or need a different colored one done.

The model is semi-good, messed up symmetry but nice textures. However, the rig is total crap. Bone Groups don't make that much sense and bones that aren't marked as control-bones are already animated. Also, it is quite hard to get the wings to move separately. Had to rig the thing from the ground up. All in all a 5/10 model, but for the 20 dollars that it cost me on sale alright.

HI, we just bought this Butterfly model to use in C4D we have seen that the loop is not well done since there is a jump in the legs every time the loop is completed which is really short and I was hoping for some more animation like landing as shown in the video. In addition to having a problem with the normals in the butterfly's tail which is constantly rotating in a very unnatural way it seems that the normals are being reversed or there is something not working... We really can't use this model, I think it can only be used in Blender but the other formats FBX and Alembic are practically unusable in C4D 2024. The model looks OK in the promotional video. Please we would like to get our money back for this purchase as we are not going to use this model. Thanks in advance, Diego Bonati

Dude there are no f***ing controls on the butterfly RIG blender scene, and also all the versions of the butterfly are already animated, there should be atleast one without animation and the RIG in base mode for the customer to animate it without having to delete all the stuff You already animated. Anyways I need you to tell me how can I access the controls for the RIG to be able to animated, or if there is no controls explain why. Please and thank you
