DESCRIPTION

The Westland Whirlwind is a high-quality, photo-real 3D model of the first twin-engine heavy fighter used by the Royal Air Force (RAF) during World War II. Designed by W.E.W. Petter, the Whirlwind was a remarkably advanced aircraft for its time, featuring a high-power-to-weight ratio and a concentrated battery of four 20mm Hispano cannons in the nose. This asset captures the fighter's sleek, slender fuselage and its distinctive T-tail configuration. The model is presented in an authentic RAF desert/temperate camouflage livery, featuring the registration P7094, HE-T squadron markings, and a detailed bubble-top canopy.

The model is built with high-accuracy, low-poly geometry and utilizes clean, base-color shading suitable for various lighting environments. All renders are provided without post-processing.

Suitable for all major 3D software suites, including Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, and Unreal Engine. Ideal for historical combat simulations, WWII documentaries, and high-fidelity renders of iconic British aerospace engineering.

Features:

High-quality polygonal model, correctly scaled to represent the dimensions of the original heavy fighter.

Fully textured with all materials applied, covering the specialized all-metal airframe and detailed interior.

Accurate representation of the Whirlwind's design, including the wing-mounted radiator intakes and characteristic T-tail assembly.

Detailed cockpit area featuring a realistic bubble-top canopy with clear glazing and structural framing.

Realistic retractable tailwheel landing gear assembly shown in the extended position with authentic structural details.

Features the prominent nose-mounted armament consisting of four 20mm cannons and two detailed three-blade propellers with white spinners.

Professionally designed at real-world scale with organized, logically named Blender objects for easy scene integration.

All textures and materials are included in the package.
