DESCRIPTION

The Short Stirling is a high-quality, photo-real 3D model of the first four-engined heavy bomber to be introduced into service with the Royal Air Force during World War II. Designed by Short Brothers, the Stirling was a massive aircraft for its time, featuring a distinctive high-mounted cockpit and a long, narrow fuselage necessitated by hangar-size restrictions of the era. This asset captures the bomber's rugged profile, including its complex tall landing gear and mid-upper and rear defensive gun turrets. The model is presented in an authentic RAF night-bomber camouflage livery of dark green and earth over black, featuring 7-B squadron markings and Royal Air Force roundels.

The model is built with high-accuracy, low-poly geometry and utilizes clean, base-color shading suitable for various lighting environments. All renders are provided without post-processing.

Suitable for all major 3D software suites, including Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, and Unreal Engine. Ideal for historical combat simulations, WWII documentaries, and high-fidelity visualizations of mid-century British heavy aerospace engineering.

Features:

High-quality polygonal model, correctly scaled to represent the massive dimensions of the original heavy bomber.

Fully textured with all materials applied, covering the extensive fuselage and wing surfaces.

Accurate representation of the four Bristol Hercules radial engines, each housing a three-blade propeller with a black finish.

Detailed cockpit and turret areas featuring realistic glazing and defensive armament stations.

Realistic landing gear assembly shown in the extended position with authentic tall-strut structural details.

Features the iconic high-aspect-ratio vertical tail and specialized wing geometry characteristic of the Short Brothers design.

Professionally designed at real-world scale with organized, logically named Blender objects for easy scene integration.

All textures and materials are included in the package.

No cleanup is required—the model is ready for immediate use in your project.
