Dehavilland DHC-2 Beaver V15

Dehavilland DHC-2 Beaver V15 3D model

Description

deHavilland was built very near to scale and fully textured. The medium poly model has a lot of detail in the engine and exterior of the aircraft. It has animateable ailerons, elevators, rudder, pontoon rudders, flaps, and propeller. The model also has amphibian landing gear that can be retracted. It has some detail in the cabin and cockpit interior. Built in 2014 this is one of our latest models. It is available in a dozen formats.

The de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver is a single-engine, high-wing, propeller-driven, STOL aircraft developed by de Havilland Canada, primarily known as a bush plane. It is used for cargo and passenger hauling, aerial application, and has been widely adopted by armed forces as a utility aircraft. The US Army purchased several hundred; nine DHC-2s are still in service with the Civil Air Patrol for search and rescue. A Royal New Zealand Air Force Beaver supported Sir Edmund Hillary's expedition to the South Pole. Over 1,600 Beavers were produced until 1967 when the original line shut down.
