An IRIS-T SLM battery typically consists of several launchers, a radar, and a command post.The IRIS-T SLM medium-range air defense system is designed to defend against aircraft, helicopters, and cruise missiles, and operates at ranges of up to approximately 40 km and altitudes of up to 20 km.
