A brief but in depth dive in MAYA'S: UI, Modeling tools, retopology tools, Uv creation and editing, PBR materials, sculpting in MAYA as well as MUDBOX, creating joints (bones) skin weight tools, human IK, drivers, VFX tools: smoke, fire, water, wave, hair and rigid body simulations. Suitable for any industry but focused on game dev and VFX. PART 3 - Physically Based Rendering & Materials / textures material editor for maya. note the abilities of procedural maps. Making uv's in maya. the basics - what is it? planar projection and cylindrical projection. What is spherical projection and equirectangular panoramas. Cutting and sowing seems of uv shells. Uv snap shot and drawing texture in photoshop. automatic uv generation, making specific seems and unfolding uv shells, looking at uv shell layout options.
