Similar exercise I had when I was on 3ds max course. I learned basics and how to be fast, but still has a problem to understand what are all of the elements of rendering and how to properly do it. Whenever I see tutorials like this, I start to learn, but in a short amount of time I give up, and stop being interested in that.
