Render to Texture ( finalRender 1.1)

Render to Texture ( finalRender 1.1)

Tutorial posted over 7 years ago

Welcome to the Cebas Visual Technology's finalRender New Features Video #1. In this video, Edwin Braun shows you how to bake texture with finalRender right from 3dsMax, fully integrated. - Bake texture into Bitmap - select one or multiple objects Simply select the channel you wish to bake under 'Add Texture Elements' : in this example, Edwin used 'DiffuseMap' / auto-placed in Diffuse Channel. - Set your resolution - Shell material supported - keep the Source material for reference Click Material Editor from Max menu - fully procedural 'diffuse map' namely fR-3dGradient baking in Max workflow. It is usually not possible to get this kind of material into game engine or any real time application, so this is why Texture Baking is needed. - Press Render and in a few seconds, you have the individual objects unwrapped and rendered to texture baking. - Keep in mind, you can decide to use finalRender texture baking running on either CPU or GPU alone, or on both. This is the finalRender trueHybrid(TM) technology. Giving you quality and speed. - Now you can have procedural texture right from the viewport. NEXT: New Drop 1 Feature: fR Adaptive Sampling (youtu.be/C79tWNm4H5I) finalRender Subscription update Drop 1.0 released in March 2018. Visit cebas.com/finalRender for instant download with the cebas product manager. Trial version is available. To request a finalRender trueHybrid brochure from 3dgallery@cebas.com
