Substance Painter Decals Step by Step

First: You need to have the PNG of your image, then drag it to the area where you can see the material spheres. A window will appear. Where it says “Optional Prefix”, change the name THE NAME IS VERY IMPORTANT. Then, under “Undefined”, choose “Texture”. After that, in “Import Your Resources To”, select either “Project” or “Library” (recommended).

Remember: black is a color that Substance Painter does not paint by default. In another tutorial, I will teach you how to paint in black.
