CGTrader scholarship entry
Enter the CGTrader Scholarship 2016 challenge to win $1,000 for your education bills. All you have to do is write and submit an original essay on the topic “The future of virtual reality: on the footsteps of changing the world or on the brink of failure?”
Yes, this is a very broad topic, but that is how VR is - the potential is great yet uncertain; there are a lot of potential applications, but there’s also a lot of over-excitement, too. You can narrow down the topic to whatever your vision or interest with VR is - whether you are thinking about the conceptual pros and cons of the medium, writing about specific applications that excite you, reviewing technological advancements, or doing some critical business thinking regarding this new medium, you are doing the right thing.
- In the times of shortening attention spans (like now), we believe that it’s both possible and necessary to explain your point in 500-1000 words , so, please, keep the length of your submission in this range.
- Submit your essay by filling in the form below.
- Please use your educational institution email in submission form.
- The deadline to submit the essay is March 1, 2017, 12AM GMT .
- The winner will be announced on March 15, 2017 in the company’s news section and notified directly via email that was provided upon the registration.
