Subscription Fair Use Policy

This Fair Use Policy applies in conjunction with General Terms and Conditions. CGTrader reserves the right to amend this Fair Use Policy at any time.

1. All subscribers shall adhere to the fair use policy in order to ensure fair and reasonable use of the subscription service, maintain high-quality experience for all subscribers, and prevent abuse of the service.
2. Product Download limits. The monthly Product download cap as indicated in the selected subscription plan applies to each individual subscriber. For security and fair usage reasons, additional daily download limits may be enforced even if a monthly cap has not been reached. CGTrader may also enforce daily or monthly download limits for the Products offered for free download. CGTrader may change the download caps (increase or decrease) for all or for individual users permanently or temporary. This prevents automated bulk downloading and ensures platform stability.
3. Generated Output limits. The monthly generation limits on CGTrader AI service as indicated in the selected subscription plan applies to each individual subscriber. For security, stability of the service and fair usage reasons, additional daily and weekly output generation limits may be enforced even if a monthly cap has not been reached. In some cases your subscription plan may not have explicit monthly generation limits, however, certain daily or weekly limits may apply for security, stability of the service and fair usage reasons or the service may run slower during peak hours.
4. Acceptable and prohibited use cases of the Products are in line with the “Royalty Free License, No AI”. In case of any questions on acceptable or prohibited use, please consult Section 20 “General Terms of Licensing” of the General Terms and Conditions.
   
   Acceptable use. CGTrader subscription offering is intended for, but is not limited to:
   
   • Personal and commercial projects by the individual subscriber
   • Internal business use within your organization
   • Client projects where you are the primary creator/designer
   • Portfolio and presentation materials
   • Game development, visualization, and content creation
   • Educational and training purposes
     
   Prohibited Use. Among the other limitations originating from the “Royalty Free License, No AI”, the following uses are strictly prohibited under CGTrader Essentials:
   
   • Redistribution or resale of downloaded 3D models
   • Sharing subscription access with others or using multiple accounts
   • Bulk downloading for archiving purposes without immediate project use
   • Automated or bot-assisted downloading
   • Creating competing 3D model marketplaces or libraries
   • Sublicensing downloaded content to third parties
   • Using models in AI training datasets
   • Extracting textures or components for resale as separate assets
   • Using 3D models on projects started after expiration or termination of a subscription
     
5. Acceptable and prohibited use cases of Generated Output using the CGTrader AI service are defined in CGTrader AI Terms of Service.

Multiple users. All Accounts at CGTrader Site are personal and individual and may not be shared with other users or persons, including the Accounts with subscriptions. You may not share your Account access credentials with anyone else and you may not allow anyone else to download Products using your subscription Account. Each member of a team must have an individual personal Account with subscription.

Monitoring and enforcement. CGTrader reserves the right to:

• Monitor download patterns and usage
• Request information about how downloaded content is being used
• Investigate suspicious activity or potential policy violations
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy
• Request to remedy the violation of the terms and policies
• Take legal action against commercial redistribution, resale or other type of infringement of the terms and policies.
