1/900th scale Supermarine Walrus Flying Boat model. Certain elements not to scale.

The Supermarine Walrus was a British amphibious reconnaissance and rescue aircraft built from 1936–1944, with 740 produced for the Royal Navy, RAF, and other Allied operators. The aircraft served in many roles and with several countries throughout and after World War II. Its typical armament consisted of two 7.7 mm Vickers K machine guns (one in the nose and one rear position) and up to 345 kg (760 lb) of bombs or depth charges for anti-submarine patrols; later Walrus II aircraft changed construction from metal hulls to wooden hulls to conserve strategic materials.

This model is designed and tested at 1/900th scale, but up-scaling and down-scaling are possible. Since the model is optimized for 1/900th scale, it is not ideal to print larger versions due to a lack of detail. The model has been enlarged along the z axis to allow for better printing and accentuation of detail. The model has also been given thicker elements for strength. The wingspan and overall length are to scale.
